The HSGI Universal Modular Magazine Pouch connects to any
MOLLE/PALS platform by use of the included MALICE clips.
The magazine pouch was designed for multiple magazine types.
Each pouch can hold up to: (3) M-16, (2) AK, (2) .308 or (2) M-16
magazines with use of a coupler.
The staggered design also allows a 20 round M-16 magazine to set
up high enough within the internal stirrup to use along side with
30 rounders or to allow the user to identify certain magazines with
unique purposes.
Also with the internal stirrup collapsed, an M-18 smoke grenade
can be placed within the pouch.
The Universal Modular Magazine Pouch also has an adjustable
shock-cord to retain magazines within. The shock cord, aside from
adjustability, offers the advantage of being user replaceable in
the field as opposed to the wide elastic band in use by most
manufacturers
MOLLE/PALS webbing is located on the sides of the pouch for
additional modular pouches.
Malice
Clips Malice Clips are reusable, high strength, injection
molded connecting clips designed to attach modular pockets to
vests, belts, packs, and MAXPEDITION, MOLLE or SPEAR equipment.
They are not affected by heat or cold, and will never corrode or
lose their subdued finish. Once attached, Malice Clips require a
flat-tipped object (screwdriver, car key, knife point, bullet
point, or ballpoint pen) to be inserted into the opening slot on
the back of the clip to unlock it. The clip will not open until it
is disengaged by the user.
Speed
Clips are made of a modern carbon-fiber polymer material that
is strong, flexible and durable. These clips quickly mount or
disconnect pouches and other gear quickly and efficiently - no more
tedious weaving of bulky straps or hesitation at rearranging your
kit for better ergonomics. These clips make that task easy.
