The Magpul CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) is a drop-in
replacement for the standard M4 stock body. Designed for stability,
the CTR utilizes a shielded operation lever and a friction locking
system that secures the stock to the buffer tube for zero movement
providing a solid cheek weld every time.
The CTR was intended primarily for those operators who are
restricted in their stock upgrades by the fact that their weapon is
issued to them, but has become a popular choice for all carbine
users. The CTR is also a great upgrade for those who do not want to
spend a lot of money on a complete stock system, but want the most
return for the price.
The Magpul CTR allows the upgrade of the stock without the
removal of any integral parts of the rifle.
